Vijayawada: In a ground-breaking attempt to improve citizen services, Minister Nara Lokesh officially started WhatsApp government in Andhra Pradesh. Minister Nara Lokesh revealed at the inaugural event that citizens will be able to obtain numerous government certificates and services directly via WhatsApp, eliminating the need for wasteful visits to government offices. 

The state administration has published the WhatsApp number 9552300009, which allows citizens to access a variety of services. This program is the first of its kind in the country, with the goal of providing 161 distinct services to the public during the initial phase. Endowments, the Electricity Department, the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (RTC), Revenue, the Anna Canteen, the CMRF, and municipal services are among the major stakeholders.
